Accessibility statement

Our commitment to accessibility
TechRS sees accessibility as an integral part of its service. We work to ensure that everyone, including people with disabilities, can learn about our services, contact us, read our articles and guides, and use the vulnerability dashboard on the site. We do so in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
Conformance level
The site has been made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568 (Part 1), which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
Accessibility features
- Two languages. The main pages are available in English and in Hebrew, with a language switcher at the top of every page (on smaller screens, in the menu). Every page declares its correct language and text direction — left-to-right for English, right-to-left for Hebrew — so that screen readers use the right voice and pronunciation, and English terms inside Hebrew text are marked as English.
- Keyboard navigation. Every part of the site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and a “Skip to main content” link appears at the top of every page.
-
Accessibility toolbar. A built-in toolbar lets you increase text
size up to 160% (and reduce it again), switch on high contrast, grayscale, highlighted
links, a readable font, and stop animations, and reset all settings at once. Your
preferences are stored only in your browser (
localStorage) and are never sent to our server. - Light and dark themes, selectable by the user.
- Reduced motion. The site respects your operating system’s reduced-motion preference (
prefers-reduced-motion). - Forms with properly associated labels and error messages that are announced to screen readers.
- An accessible vulnerability table, with defined column headers and full screen-reader support.
- Screen-reader compatibility with common screen readers, including NVDA and VoiceOver.
- Responsive design, with support for zoom up to 400% without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
- Semantic HTML with defined navigation regions (landmarks) and an orderly heading structure.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content is not yet fully accessible, and we say so openly:
- Our articles, guides, glossary and newsletter are published in Hebrew only. Visitors to the English site who open them will find the content in Hebrew; each such page is marked with the correct language and direction.
- Vulnerability (CVE) descriptions are shown in English, exactly as received from the official source (NVD). On the Hebrew version of the dashboard, the interface and navigation around them are in Hebrew.
- Code blocks in our guides are shown in English and left-to-right, by their nature.
- Third-party content — such as external websites we link to — is not fully under our control.
Have you run into a difficulty that is not listed here? Please tell us so we can fix it.
