Offensive security · Penetration testing

We break in before attackers do.

TechRS is an offensive security firm. We run manual, research-driven penetration tests on web apps, APIs, mobile and cloud — and deliver findings your engineers can act on immediately.

  • Manual testing with proof of concept
  • Fixed-price proposals
  • NDA before scoping

Services

Testing for everything you ship

Four focused practices, one standard: every engagement is led by hands-on researchers and ends with findings you can fix.

WEB/API

Web Application & API Penetration Testing

Manual, attacker-driven testing of your web applications and APIs — from authentication and access control to the business-logic flaws automated scanners can't see.

  • Access control, IDOR / BOLA & tenant isolation
  • Auth, sessions, SSO & OAuth 2.0 flows
  • REST, GraphQL & business-logic abuse
MOBILE

Mobile Application Penetration Testing

In-depth security testing of iOS and Android apps — and the APIs behind them — aligned with OWASP MASVS and MASTG.

  • iOS & Android static and dynamic analysis
  • Local storage, pinning & runtime tampering
  • The backend APIs your app depends on
INFRA/CLOUD

Infrastructure, Network & Cloud Penetration Testing

External and internal network testing, Active Directory attack paths and cloud security reviews across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

  • External perimeter & attack-surface mapping
  • Active Directory & Entra ID attack paths
  • AWS, Azure, GCP & Kubernetes
CODE

Secure Code Review & Security Advisory

Manual review of the code that matters most, threat modeling for new features, and hands-on guidance that helps your team ship secure software.

  • Manual review of high-risk components
  • Threat modeling & secure design
  • Remediation support & fix verification

Why TechRS

Built like an attacker. Delivered like a partner.

About TechRS

Manual-first, not scanner dumps

Every finding is discovered or verified by hand and comes with a working proof of concept. No false-positive padding.

A bug-bounty mindset

We hunt vulnerabilities on HackerOne, so we approach your product the way real attackers do — chaining small issues into real impact.

Reports engineers can act on

Clear reproduction steps, CVSS 4.0 ratings and fix guidance written for developers — plus an executive summary for leadership.

Safe, authorized, confidential

Written rules of engagement, agreed testing windows and an NDA before scoping. Your data stays strictly need-to-know.

How we work

From scoping call to signed attestation

  1. Scope & rules of engagement

A short call to understand your architecture, risks and goals. You receive a fixed-price proposal and written rules of engagement.

  2. Reconnaissance & threat modeling

We map your attack surface — endpoints, roles, integrations and trust boundaries — and decide where an attacker would strike first.

  3. Manual exploitation

Hands-on testing beyond checklists: chaining weaknesses, abusing business logic and proving real impact — safely.

  4. Report & debrief

A prioritized report with executive summary, technical findings, proof of concept and remediation guidance — walked through with your team.

  5. Retest & attestation

After you fix, we verify every remediation and issue an updated report and a letter of attestation for customers and auditors.

Deliverables

A report your engineers will actually read

Every finding is written to be reproduced, understood and fixed — with the evidence, the impact and the remediation in one place.

  • Executive summary & risk overview
  • Technical findings with proof of concept
  • CVSS 4.0 severity & business-impact rating
  • Step-by-step reproduction & remediation
  • Retest report & attestation letter

Cross-tenant invoice access via predictable object IDs

CVSS 4.0
CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N
Affected
GET | PUT /api/v2/invoices/{invoice_id}

Impact

Any authenticated user can read and modify invoices that belong to other organizations by changing the numeric invoice_id — exposing customer names, addresses and payment details across tenants.

Proof of concept

GET /api/v2/invoices/48213 HTTP/2
Host: app.example.com
Authorization: Bearer <tenant-A token>

HTTP/2 200 OK
{"id": 48213, "org": "tenant-B", "total": 12400, ...}

Remediation

Enforce object-level authorization on every request: resolve the invoice through the caller's organization and return 404 for anything outside it. Add per-role regression tests.

Bug bounty

Sharpened in the bug bounty arena

We hunt vulnerabilities in bug bounty programs on HackerOne, alongside thousands of researchers worldwide. That adversarial edge — creative, persistent and impact-driven — is what we bring to every engagement.

FAQ

Questions we hear before every engagement

Ask us anything

How much does a penetration test cost?

It depends on scope — the number of applications, user roles, API endpoints and environments. After a short scoping call you receive a fixed-price proposal, so there are no hourly surprises.

How long does an engagement take?

Most web application and API tests take one to three weeks from kickoff to report, depending on size. The proposal includes a firm timeline.

Is it safe to test our production environment?

Yes, with care. We agree on testing windows, request rates and off-limits actions in writing, avoid destructive techniques unless you explicitly approve them, and can test a staging environment instead.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We sign a mutual NDA before scoping. Findings and any data we encounter are handled strictly need-to-know and retained only as long as our agreement allows.

What do you need from us to get started?

A scope (URLs, apps, IP ranges or repositories), test accounts for each user role and a technical point of contact. For mobile, the latest builds; for code review, read-only repository access.

Do your reports help with compliance?

Yes. Reports are written to support SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and Israel's Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations — including a letter of attestation after retesting.

Ready to see your attack surface through an attacker's eyes?

Tell us what you're building. We'll come back with a clear scope, a timeline and a fixed price.
